About Us
Alcor’s Goal:  To achieve and maintain the highest standards of quality in manufacturing and customer service!  Alcor, Inc. is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1957. Michael Hundere, son of the company’s founder, Al Hundere, purchased the aviation division of Alcor in 1993.  Michael is both a licensed pilot and aircraft mechanic who has worked in general aviation his entire life.  Michael’s primary focus throughout his career has been to maintain the quality of the products carefully built in the San Antonio facility and to provide prompt and on-going customer support for all Alcor products.The Alcor Employee Quality Policy states: “I am committed to achieving complete customer satisfaction through the high quality of my work, best manufacturing practices, continuously improving processes, management innovations and strict quality systems.” The administrative team is diligent about continuing the Alcor tradition of highest quality production, while keeping costs to a minimum for the end users.
